What? Two Days Without Rain!

Well, there should be no doubt what dear old auntie has done with 2 rainless days. Yup! Out in the garden. Amongst gardeners this is called fall clean-up. I know, you are overwhelmed with the depth of that label. In any case, I am busy cutting back the wisteria, butterfly bush, hydrangea, etc. I'm never in a big hurry to complete this work as it signals a dead period in the garden.

Other than that I have been busy transcribing minutes from the last Central Lutheran Foundation meeting and getting prepared for my 3rd presentation to one of "my" Lions Clubs. This latter task is getting easier as I do each presentation which should come as no surprise. Much to my pleasure, I got good reviews from my first presentation--said I was well suited to my job and that my presentation was informative and well presented. I realize it's no Academy Award, but at least your dear old auntie hasn't lost her touch when it comes to talking to an audience.

My next big event is a trip to Oceanside on October 18th to see June who will be celebrating her 89th birthday this month. I'll fill you in on all the details when I get back.
